History of Raniganj union

Among the 9 unions of Jagannathpur upazila, the 6th Raniganj Union Parishad is located in the southwestern part of Jagannathpur upazila. For the production of rice and fish in different haors, the role of Raniganj Union of 6 is unique. The total number of villages in the union is 37, and mouza 23. Raniganj Bazar has been named after the great queen of Usha. In the same continuation, the name of the union was named Raniganj union.
